10/28/14

So...after watching a History Channel show about Zombies. I've decided that it's quite possible for a zombie outbreak. There are apparently these things called Prions that can infect your brain and cause you to have zombie-like actions. Thank you History Channel for giving my imagination more logic. I "googled" Prion to see if there was true validity to their "report." and found it on the CDC's website. http://www.cdc.gov/ncidod/dvrd/prions/ It's linked to things like "mad cow" disease.

Yes, I try to research for pure enjoyment and curiosity. Am I that nerd that misses school? Yes, but not the social aspect of it. I miss the learning. Discovering things I never knew were possible. The feeling of expanding my knowledge of the world. As you can see from my punctuation, I should probably go back to school and relearn how to use it properly. Or at least buy a book about the proper uses for punctuation.

Let's get back on track!

ZOMBIES!

So this show about Zombies. I feel has been multiple shows in one. It started out talking about zombies. Then it moved on to talking about hordes and battles. Now it's back on zombies but talking about survival and what you should do. At some point, I was learning about plagues and diseases. I also learned about generation "C." They're children who live through the zombie apocalypse. They're tougher and more resourceful. With all the little stories within this show, I feel like I have ADD. Can't focus on one subject. At one point I forgot I was watching a show about Zombies.

Have you ever watched a show and forgotten what it was about?

Frustrated with this

I'm slightly irritated with this thing. I was going to put my own personal photo that I had taken and put it as my background on here. It keeps telling me my file is too big. It says the file can not be bigger than 300k but if you want a fullbackground the photo needs to be at least 1800x1600. Is it possible for that to happen? I've tried reducing my file size but in order to do that I have to reduce the size of my photo. Which in turn makes the photo go below the 1800x1600.

sigh

I just want to put my personal work as my background. Thats all...

I guess I'll keep trying and hope my photo quality is not compromised too much.

Going Out vs. Staying Home

I came to a conclusion last night. I enjoy going out to bars with good friends a lot. I believe it is due to the music and the fact that the people in the bar will never recognize me in a store or anywhere else for that matter. Annonimity is wonderful.
But! I find that sitting in my dinning room with my drunken loved ones playing cards and bullshitting is priceless. We don't have to worry about someone trying to pick up our better half. We can hear our conversations. Wether or not we are coherent towards the subject is another story lol. We don't spend as much money. Who needs over priced beer and watered down mixed drinks that takes a whole paycheck to get you tipsy. When you can buy your own bottles of stuff for cheaper at the store.
If you get too drunk you crash on the couch and know that the ones dipping your fingers in the warm water are doing it out of love. Plus when you wake in the morning you won't have to wonder if you did something incredibly stupid to impress people. Because frankly your family already knows you are an idiot and will promptly show you the photos they took while handing you some tylonol.

Needless to say, if you have close family and friends why go out and party when you can have just as much fun at home. Unless you are celebrating something and require more space than what you possess.

New to this...My introduction

So I decided to jump on the blog bandwagon for shits n giggles. I can't promise anything interesting to read nor can I promise consistency. I am a mother of 3 and the soon to be wife of an excentric male specimen. So my "me time" might get used up to catch up on daily chores that were put off for one reason or another. Now it is time for me to hit the sack so I can struggle to stay sleeping through the night. Long day of keeping promises to kids and utility companies ,( hate paying bills ), tomorrow. So fare well til next we meet...or don't meet for that matter.
